Home across the World for those with the Internet
While others might seek the
daylight, I embrace the soft glow of my computer. It is the modern social hub
that has consolidated the many things that I do with my friends. With my laptop,
I can hang with my friends while they are on the opposite sides of the country.
Together we can be whoever, do anything, or just laugh over the newest crazy video that has ‘graced’ the world with its presence. I feel at home whenever I
am at my desk mashing my keys to mine, attack or build with my friends.

Hi Steven, I also talk to my friends online who live across the country. All of my friends go to school in Florida, but we do talk every day. I just sent my friend the Gangnam style video the other day actually, none of my friends in Florida had seen it yet!
ReplyDeleteLove that Gangnam video. But your post really emphasizes how computers and the internet make up a space of their own. There's a lot of freedom, yet you can connect to anyone you want.
ReplyDeleteAs I read through your blog, it reminds me how I communicate with my parents via Skype. It feels I am actually with them even though we are several thousand miles far away from one another.
ReplyDeleteComputers are a great way to network and interact with friends at all times even if they are on the other side of the world.
